Position Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Operations Team at Croda Inc. The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the daily on-the-floor operation of the plant such as manage all phases of production that include but not limited to verifying daily production schedules, check inventories to verify required chemicals on hand, recognize abnormal operation and lead trouble shooting to determine cause, schedule daily maintenance activities with maintenance department, evaluating and learning new equipment/improve existing equipment and procedures and ensuring that employees perform their jobs in a safe and efficient manner, according to company policy. All other duties assigned by management. |
Required Skills, Experience and
Education:
The ideal candidate must possess an Associate’s Degree in Business Management or related field. 5 – 10 years working in a chemical plant environment, preferably with previous experience with processing equipment and operating system. 1 – 2 years supervisory experience. Must have knowledge of federal and local environmental regulations. Completed Supervisory Training and Chemical Operator and Hazardous Material Handling Training a plus.
