Position Summary:

An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Sales Team at Croda Inc. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for coordinating business development activities from concept through to commercialization by determining, identifying and developing data necessary for the development of business, including background, technical, formulation and other marketing data, overseeing development projects on a day to day and up to 1 year forward basis and ensuring regular review meetings, resolving a wide range of problems encountered during the development process that could prevent projects moving forward, communicating with a wide range of individuals both internally and externally to ensure that projects are commercialized or fully investigated, creatively generate draft marketing literature and working with the Marketing department in handling sample requests, Chemidex and maintenance of company web sites.  All other duties assigned by management.

 

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

The qualified candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or related technical field.  2 – 3 years sales experience within the specialty chemical industry. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required.
