Position Summary:

An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join R&D at Croda Inc. The R&D Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support and document maintenance support to the R&D group in Atlas Point. The administrative duties include but are not limited to; coordinating requests for building maintenance items, sort and distribute mail & packages, assist with arrangements for visitors, order lab and office supplies and help maintain inventory, enter purchase orders, help administer service contracts with instrument and equipment providers, maintain common areas such as conference and lunch rooms, serve as primary point of contact with the cleaning staff, coordinate lab coat cleaning.  Document Maintenance duties include but are not limited to; maintaining MSDS file for chemicals in the lab, coordinating sample shipments, assist with entering information into PIR, safety, R&D/PD and analytical databases, filing and tracking documents, maintaining chemical inventory documents, ISO & Responsible Care document control from the lab, and maintaining safety inspection records. All other duties as assigned by management.

 

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

The qualified candidate must possess a HS Diploma. 3-5 years experience in an office administrative role. Proficiency in MS Office is required. Experience in R &D setting is preferred. Must be flexible, self-starter, and have a positive can-do attitude.
