Location: Southern US Region Position Summary: An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join Sales at Croda Inc. The Sales Development Manager – Oilfield Additives will be responsible for the financial delivery of the Oilfield Additive sector. Additional responsibilities include; identifying, quantifying, selecting and executing the market, pricing and product strategies for the Oilfield additive sector specifically targeting sustainable profit growth, develop and drive execution of Oilfield business strategy and value proposition development by targeting both expanding the customer base for current product technologies in the area of production additives and also developing adjacent market sectors (i.e. drilling, EOR, etc). Focus should be on finding new customers for existing technologies and leveraging existing Croda technologies into new applications. Must develop and implement the Oilfield Additive selling activities around focus products, applications, and pricing strategy which includes; managing the customer interface, conducting customer presentations and implementation of customer/product specific projects. Must conduct ongoing external scanning of end markets, regulatory environment, competitive activity and prospect for new markets and or product opportunities, coordinate activities with the technical group around the development of new technology for Oilfield sector, develop and implement the promotional plan for the business including upgrading of all sales tools, trade show coordination and advertising, acts as liaison with Operations, Logistics, Customer Care as required to satisfy customer demands. All other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills, Experience and Education: The qualified candidate must possess a BA or BS degree in Chemistry or related field. A minimum of 5 years sales experience in the oilfield additive sector. Ability to conduct professional presentations, prepare customer communications and directly manage accounts is required. Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work from home in Texas land area or Delaware area. 60% travel is required.
