Position Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join R&D at Croda Inc. The Product Safety Advisor will be responsible for developing appropriate regulatory programs, policies and procedures to maintain compliance with Canadian & U.S federal, state, and local requirements, implementing and maintaining Product Stewardship initiatives, compliance with regional chemical control regulations (DSL/TSCA), development of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) & labels to ensure compliance with state, federal and regional hazard communications and Right-to-Know (RTK) regulations, support company programs under Responsible Care, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, FDA, SAP EHS Module and global regulations impacting company products. Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills, Experience and
Education:
The qualified candidate must possess a BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related technical field, 5 – 10 years in Regulatory Compliance, preferably within the chemical industry. Knowledge of local, state, federal and international Right-to-Know regulations and hazard communication programs. Experience with SAP’s EHS Module, MSDS authoring, Canadian regulations and Product Stewardship principles of Responsible Care.
