HR Assistant - Payroll

An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Human Resources Team at Croda Inc. The Human Resources Assistant – Payroll will be responsible for all tasks related to establishing and maintaining employee/payroll records, processing payrolls, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, computing wages and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions and processing terminations, calculate and prepare general ledger entries and inspect automated system output such as registers and standard reports. All other duties assigned by management.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
The qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required. APA certification a plus. 2 - 4 years of payroll experience. Experience as hands-on-user with Ultipro or similar payroll systems preferably self-service, in a union environment required. Experience with HRIS and Time/Attendance Systems a plus.
