Research Technician

Position Summary:

An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join R&D at Croda Inc.  The Research Technician will be responsible for scheduling panelists each week for Salon evaluations of Hair Care & Hair Color products, maintaining all records required for initiation Salon evaluations, performing Salon evaluations of various Hair Care and Hair Color products and write evaluation reports, recruit new panelists and maintain the panelists database, maintain the Salon projects database and analyze and report all results. The individual must perform all duties in compliance with Croda’s safety policies and consistent with Croda’s new salon strategy. All other duties as assignment by management.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

The qualified candidate must possess a High School Diploma with a valid Research Technician License. 2 – 3 years of Salon experience. Preferably 1 year clinical study experience.  Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, good oral and written communication skills. Must be experienced and able to operate all necessary salon equipment such as flat irons, curling irons, blow driers etc.  Must have experience and able to perform salon treatments such as, but not limited to, hair color, hair relaxers, permanent waves etc. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
