Gentle Detackifying Emollient

 

CROMAPURE GDE was designed with mildness in mind!  It is the first commercialized, synthetic, Super RefinedŽ emollient from Croda, the recognized leader in Super Refining and ester technologies.  It is the answer to any concern for mildness in leave-on products, especially for sensitive skin or where abrasion is involved in the skin treatment process (ie. facial scrubs, microdermabrasion).  It detackifies popular emollients, such as lanolin and petrolatum, to provide a more appealing skin sensation.

Not only is CROMAPURE GDE mild by itself, but it possesses the ability to modify irritation potential in natural oils, prone to irritation through oxidation.  As seen by the graph below, CROMAPURE GDE was able to mitigate the irritation of three brands of almond oil when added at 3%.


Due to its mildness and skin modification properties, CROMAPURE GDE is suitable for a variety of skin care applications.  Some suggested applications are:
